Noche/Día de Ciencias - Science Nights – is a national program to promote knowledge and interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) among the Hispanic community.

This year, we'll celebrate the International Pi Day, which in 2015 is the "Ultimate Pi Day" because it will happen only once in a life time!!! It's a true "Pi Day of the Century"!!

We appreciate the support, help, and hospitality of the Cincinnati Museum Center in organizing this event, and the support from GE Aviation, Duke Energy, and Luxottica!!!

We also appreciate the support and help from RRight Now Communications, LLC

The event is a 3 to 4 hour event where students will be engaged in fun STEM hand-oh activities while parent are engage in workshops that introduce them to STEM and provide them awareness about college, and information about financial aid.

Who is our audience? Latino students in high school and middle school, and their parents.

In December we have initiated a "STEM Toys Drive", and several sponsors were kind enough to donate STEM Toys for students from AMIS (Academy of Multilingual Immersion Studies)

The goal of the STEM Toy Drive is to focus our efforts on toys that will help to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education among the youth within our Hispanic community, and Cincinnati in general. We hope these STEM toys will help to spark interest in the next generation of Engineers and Technologists!

Curious for examples of STEM Toys? SHPE-NYC has developed one of the first STEM Toys lists on Amazon and various other sites. Please follow this link for Amazon examples:
