STEM Toys Drive

Our friends from SHPE New York came few years ago with a wonderful idea.
 
Every year they hosted a toy drive, in conjunction with their holiday dinner, to raise gifts for needy children in the community. But then SHPE-NYC launched a new initiative, a "STEM Toy drive", where they donated over 100 STEM toys to elementary school children in New York City.
 
This year SHPE Cincinnati will be doing the same here in our region! And we challenge everybody to do the same!
 
The goal of the STEM Toy Drive is to focus our efforts on toys that will help to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education among the youth within our Hispanic community, and Cincinnati in general. We hope these STEM toys will help to spark interest in the next generation of Engineers and Technologists!

We want to show kids that STEM can be fun!  
So the challenge for everybody is to promote donation of STEM Toys in your community! Organize a "STEM Toy Drive", donate a STEM Toy to somebody else, and buy a STEM Toy for your own children! 
We'll be posting here organizations and individuals who volunteer to be part of this "STEM Toy Drive" in the Greater Cincinnati Area!
This initiative is now supported by following organizations and companies in Cincinnati (and hopefully, we'll be able to add many many more!!!):
